How to clean a watch

Over time, dirt, dust, oil and other natural fibres can build up in your watch’s links and bracelet, which is why you should consider giving your timepiece a deep clean every few months or so. How to clean a leather watch strap
To maintain the quality of your leather band, any moisture should be wiped off with a dry cloth or paper towel immediately and it should be kept away from any moisture or wet environments. Perspiration can wash out the natural oils of a leather band, causing it to deteriorate over time so it’s important to keep this part of a watch extra dry and clean from any marks. It is also encouraged to wear your band loosely around your wrist to allow the air to circulate and to avoid perspiration.
